Safe. Precise. Minimal Downtime.

At Bonato MD Aesthetics, we offer physician-performed benign lesion removal using electrocautery — a quick, precise, and effective in-office treatment for unwanted growths on the face, body, and beyond. Whether you're bothered by a stubborn skin tag, a cluster of cherry angiomas, or years of accumulated benign lesions, Dr. Bonato removes them safely and cleanly with medical-grade precision.

This is not a spa service. Every removal is performed by Dr. Bonato himself, ensuring accurate identification, appropriate technique, and optimal cosmetic results — with the confidence that only a physician-led practice can provide.

Every treatment at Bonato MD Aesthetics is performed by Dr. Alex Bonato, MD — a board-certified physician serving Medford and Southern Oregon. Meet Dr. Bonato →

What Is Electrocautery Lesion Removal?

Electrocautery uses a precisely controlled electrical current to safely burn off benign skin lesions at the surface level. The technique is fast, targeted, and leaves minimal scarring when performed correctly. Most lesions are treated in a single visit, with little to no downtime required afterward.

Because the treatment uses heat to simultaneously remove the lesion and seal the surrounding tissue, there is typically very little bleeding and a low risk of infection — making it one of the most efficient in-office removal methods available.
