Who Performs Your Treatment

Every treatment at Bonato MD Aesthetics is performed by Dr. Alexander Bonato personally. The practice has no nurse injectors, physician assistants, or aestheticians. He is the sole provider, and he performs every injection, laser, plasma, and hair restoration treatment himself.

Credentials and Training

Dr. Bonato is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, certified in 2019 and currently participating in Maintenance of Certification. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey — New Jersey Medical School, from 2015 to 2018, and earned his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in 2014. He has practiced medicine since 2015 and is licensed by the Oregon Medical Board.

He began formal aesthetic medicine training in 2022 through the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine and opened his aesthetics practice in 2024. He has completed multiple manufacturer trainings with Galderma in Restylane and Sculptra. He uses high-frequency ultrasound to map facial vasculature before filler injection, a practice that is not yet routine in aesthetic medicine.
